Meet Darrell Mims

I am an ordained pastor and currently serve as Executive Pastor – Finance for a non-denominational church in Atlanta, Georgia.  I have attended this church for 15 years, serving the first five years as a volunteer and the last ten years on staff.  During these 15 years, I have participated in the growth of the church from 250 attendees to over 6,000 attendees every week.  Prior to being called into full-time ministry, I spent 21 years in Corporate America with the last five years as Chief Financial Officer of one of Georgia’s largest private companies.  I am currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia.  I also hold a MBA from Texas A & M University.

My passion is to help Lead Pastors become successful in growing their church and relieving them of the burden of thinking about the business side of ministries.  My passion is using my gifting to help in the overall goal of getting people to give their lives to Jesus Christ.   

EChurchAdmin was founded to help Senior Pastors, their staff and volunteers understand Internal Revenue Service, financial and administrative issues that churches face each day. I want your church to be in compliance with the law and following polices that will ensure your church is protecting your assets and congregation. Over the last nine years, I have helped plant churches and provided the administrative and financial advice needed to help them succeed and grow.   

Most churches do not have the financial resources to hire a seasoned administrator to oversee the business of the church.  Pastors do not have the ability to get the correct solutions to complex situations that could ultimately be contrary to IRS policy.   This could put the church at risk for unforeseen penalties.  My goal is to become a resource that will solve your church administrative and financial situations.  I will become your internet administrator and financial consultant until you are able to hire that expertise for your staff or I will work with your current administrator to help them fulfill their purpose.   All churches need expertise to manage and protect the business side of the ministry.
